Application Process

At Get First Aid, we are selective in who joins our team. We are seeking clinicians and students who demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and a genuine passion for event medical care.

All recruitment is conducted via SEEK.com.au.

Please note: each recruitment round may vary depending on region, event demand, and operational requirements.

Step 1 – Submit Your Application

Applications must be submitted via SEEK and must include:

  • An up-to-date resume

  • A cover letter clearly explaining why you would like to work with Get First Aid and why you believe you would be a strong addition to our team

  • Your preferred region and availability

Your cover letter is important. We want to understand:

  • Your motivation

  • Your clinical or operational experience

  • What you believe you can contribute to GFA

  • How you align with our professional standards

Applications submitted without a cover letter may not be considered.

Step 2 – Application Review

Our recruitment team carefully reviews all applications. Due to the volume of applications received, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

Step 3 – Interview & Recruitment Assessment

Depending on the recruitment round, shortlisted applicants may complete one or more stages, including:

  • An online interview

  • An in-person interview

  • A recruitment day involving practical scenarios

  • An online interview followed by an in-person recruitment day

Recruitment days may include:

  • Clinical scenario assessments

  • Team-based exercises

  • Communication and professionalism evaluation

  • Operational briefings

This process allows us to assess both clinical capability and suitability for working within a structured event medical environment.

Step 4 – Compliance & Documentation

Successful candidates must provide:

  • Current First Aid / Advanced First Aid certification

  • Advanced Resuscitation (HLTAID015 or equivalent)

  • Police Check

  • Working With Children Check (where applicable)

  • Relevant degree enrolment or AHPRA registration (if applicable)

All compliance must be current prior to rostering.
